Trey Gaskins - CEO
Mr. Gaskins joined the Ygnition team in September of 2009. Mr. Gaskins
has an extensive track record in telecommunications, digital media, and
broadband expertise, serving in a variety of senior leadership roles over
the past 20 years. Mr. Gaskins started his career in sales and marketing,
spending 10 years with IBM / Siemens / ROLM, after which he founded his
first venture, Advanced TeleMedia, Inc (ATM). As CEO of ATM, he led the
Company through several years of extensive organic growth and aggressive
acquisition initiatives, culminating with the acquisition of BellSouth
Entertainment properties in Georgia and Florida. In 2001, ATM was
selected as Operator of the Year by Broadband Properties magazine. After
the Company was sold in 2003, Mr. Gaskins founded Angel Business Catalyst,
working with emerging companies as an angel investor, business advisor,
and marketing catalyst. Mr. Gaskin's past leadership roles include EVP of
Fusion Broadband (now Pavlov Media), President of DAVE Networks, and EVP
of News Distribution Network. Mr. Gaskins holds a Bachelor of Science in
Business from Clemson University.
Randy Watson - COO
Mr. Watson brings over 20 years of operations leadership experience
in the
cable, satellite and high-speed internet industries to the Ygnition
team.
Prior to joining Ygnition in 2005 Mr. Watson served as the Managing
Director
for HomeSmart from Xcel Energy, an unregulated, subscriber based
service of
Xcel Energy, one of the nations largest utility companies. Mr. Watson
began
his career in the communications industry in 1980 as Director of
Programming
for Time Warner Cable in San Diego. After holding positions with
Time Warner
Cable as a General Manager, Regional Director and Regional Vice President
he
left Time Warner to become Regional Vice President for Primestar,
where he
was accountable for managing the operations of the countries 2nd
largest
provider of satellite television to more than 750,000 customers in
the
eastern half of the U.S. After Primestar was acquired by DirecTV
in 1999 Mr.
Watson joined DirecTV as Vice President DirecTV Home Services, where
he was
charged with leading national field operations for the countries
largest
provider of satellite television.
Mr. Watson earned a bachelor of arts degree, magna cum laude, in
Communications from the University of California, San Diego
Ron Sullivan - CFO
Mr. Sullivan has over 15 years experience in all aspects of finance,
financial analysis, project management, and accounting. He has
a proven track record of helping organizations improve performance,
profitability and growth. Prior to Ygnition, Mr. Sullivan served
as CFO of Prodata Systems, an information technology and service
company. As CFO, Mr. Sullivan was responsible for all financial
initiatives, including strategic planning, lender and vendor relationships,
and accounting and reporting systems. In addition, Mr. Sullivan oversaw the
organization's Private Placement Memorandum, and was a key member of the development
team for the company's flagship product.
Prior to joining Prodata, Mr. Sullivan operated his own consulting
practice, providing strategic planning, operational analysis, and
practical advice to businesses in all stages of their organization
lifecycle.
Mr. Sullivan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University
of Idaho, is in process of completing his MBA, and is a Certified
Public Accountant.
Greg Roberts - SVP Operations
Mr. Roberts has over 12 years experience working with technology-based
companies. Mr. Roberts began his career in 1990 when he joined
Advanced Telecom Management (ATM). ATM was one of the leaders
in providing local and long distance services to MDU's, also
known as Shared Tenant Services. While at ATM, Mr. Roberts served
as CTO until its purchase in 1994. It was at ATM that Mr. Roberts
was fortunate to meet Glenn Meyer, CEO Ygnition. The two have
enjoyed a professional relationship ever since.
After ATM, Mr. Roberts served as a consultant to several start-ups
in Shared Tenant Services and Operations Manager for two other
start-ups, Tri-Star Communications and Apartment & Commercial
Technologies (ACT). Darwin Networks acquired ACT in 1999. Darwin
Networks was a start-up that provided Broadband Services to MDU's
and Commercial Buildings. Mr. Roberts served as the Director
of Operations - Western Region for Darwin.
Prior to joining ATM Mr. Roberts served 6 years in the Army
as a junior NCO.
Nikos Mouat- SVP Engineering & Network Operations
Possessing deep experience in network engineering, security
and software development, Nikos Mouat is well known in the
industry for his technical expertise and his ability to provide
the highest levels of customer service. His distinguished career
includes tenures at such distinguished companies as: Bell Northern
Research programming Northern Telecom's DMS series of telephone
switches; Interconnected Associates (IXA), as
Chief Technical Officer, which grew to become the preferred
Internet Backbone company for many of the northwest's web-centric
startups such as Amazon, Infospace, Photodisc, and Pointshare;
Conjungi Networks, a leading Northwest security consulting
firm where he provided firewall, VPN, and advanced networking
services to some of the Northwest's leading technology companies;
Darwin Networks, a broadband service provider; and his own
consulting practice which includes such high profile firms
as Infospace.com, iShip.com, Edgar Online, Belo and Vulcan
Northwest. Most recently he was engaged as CTO of Crossport
Systems, a broadband firewall and services company which was
merged into Lineo. At Crossport, Mr. Mouat provided the technology
foundation of their product line.
In addition, Mr. Mouat co-founded and remains a Board member
to the Seattle Internet Exchange (SIX) through which much of
the regional Internet traffic moves. Nikos Mouat was named
to the 2000 "Top 40 under 40" list published by the
Seattle Business Journal. He studied computer science and engineering
at the University of Waterloo in southern Ontario, Canada.
Sales Team
Ken Cheda
Ken Cheda contributes over 24 years of sales, management, and marketing
experience to the Ygnition Corporate Sales Team. Prior to joining
Ygnition, Mr. Cheda was a Sales Consultant and Varsity Club, Million
Dollar writer for Bruner's Home Furnishings Corporation, the largest
furniture retailer on the west coast.
Prior to that, Mr. Cheda served as VP Corporate Sales and Marketing
for The Best Present Company, Inc. selling and promoting a pre-paid
MasterCard® Product. Mr. Cheda was instrumental in the company
growth, landing them on the Top 10 list in the number 3 spot for
providers of pre-paid MasterCard gift cards.
Prior to working at The Best Present Company, Mr. Cheda spent 15
years running the family businesses in Antioch and San Ramon, California.
